    World Clock

See the current local time in major cities around the world at a glance, with a live animated clock face for each one. Drag a clock to reorder it, click a city's name to search and swap in a different one, or use the "+" card to add more — up to 8 at once. Useful for scheduling a call across time zones, checking whether it's a reasonable hour to message someone abroad, or just satisfying curiosity about what time it is somewhere else.

    How it works

Each city's time is calculated using your browser's built-in timezone database (the same one used by your operating system), which correctly accounts for daylight saving time changes and historical timezone rules — not a fixed UTC offset, which would silently drift wrong twice a year in places that observe daylight saving time. The analog clock hands are redrawn every second directly from that calculated time.

    Worked example

When it's 9:00 AM in New York, it's already 2:00 PM in London, 3:00 PM in Paris, and 10:00 PM the same day in Tokyo — the exact gap changes slightly across the year as different regions shift in and out of daylight saving time.

Why do some clocks look dimmed?
    – Cities currently between 8pm and 6am local time are shown slightly dimmed, as a quick visual cue for "probably not a good time to call."
Does this account for daylight saving time automatically?
    – Yes — the calculation is based on your browser's timezone database, which already knows each region's daylight saving rules and updates automatically when they change.
Can the cities shown be changed?
    – Yes — click any city's name to search and swap in a different one from a list covering cities worldwide. Drag a clock to reorder it, hover (or tap, on touch devices) a clock to reveal a remove button, and use the "+" card to add more, up to 8 clocks at once.
Will my chosen cities be remembered next time?
    – Yes — your selection and order are saved in your browser automatically, so they'll be there the next time you visit.
